Spaghetti and Meatballs Cake Pops

A traditional Italian meal gets a fun makeover in these Cake Pops with meatballs and spaghetti. The combination of chocolate cake, strawberry jam spaghetti, and white chocolate Parmesan is a delightful treat for both kids and adults. They are ideal for parties or themed events.

Ingredients:
  • 1 box of chocolate cake mix
  • 1/2 cup chocolate frosting
  • 1 package of spaghetti
  • 1 cup strawberry jam
  • 1 cup crushed vanilla wafer cookies
  • 1/2 cup shredded white chocolate for Parmesan
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips for meatballs
  • 1 cup red candy melts
  • 1/4 cup green candy melts

Instructions:

As directed on the package, bake the chocolate cake

After the cake has cooled, crumble it into a big bowl and thoroughly stir in the chocolate frosting

Roll the cake into little meatball-like balls and stuff a piece of spaghetti inside of each

As directed on the package, melt the red candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl

After ensuring that every cake pop is completely covered, dip them into the melted red candy coating and set them on a tray lined with parchment paper to harden

Once the green candy melts are melted, drizzle spaghetti sauce-like mixture over the cake pops

Crushed vanilla wafer cookies make a great substitute for Parmesan cheese when sprinkled over the top while the green candy coating is still wet

To resemble a meatball, place a tiny chocolate chip on top of each cake pop

Before serving, let the cake pops cool and the candy coating harden
