Soviet Garden Salad
Soviet Garden Salad is a classic vegetable salad that was popular during Soviet times. Its a vibrant and colorful dish made with fresh cucumbers, tomatoes, bell peppers, and a delightful herb-infused dressing. This salad is a delightful reminder of the traditional Soviet cuisine and is perfect for a light and healthy meal.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups diced cucumbers
- 2 cups diced tomatoes
- 1 cup diced red bell pepper
- 1 cup diced green bell pepper
- 1/2 cup diced red onion
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh dill
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup sunflower oil
- 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Dice the tomatoes, red bell pepper, green bell pepper, red onion, and cucumbers and put them all in a large bowl
Salt and pepper should be mixed with the sunflower oil, white wine vinegar, and salt in a separate small bowl
Put the dressing on top of the vegetables and toss them around to cover them all
Add the chopped parsley and dill to the salad and mix them in slowly
Put the Soviet Garden Salad in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before you serve it so that the flavors can mix
