Ingredients:

  • 1 cup cauliflower rice
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup almond flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup sugar-free tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup diced lean ham
  • 1/4 cup pineapple chunks fresh or canned in juice
  • 1/4 cup diced red bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1/4 cup shredded low-fat cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Start by heating the oven to 400F 200C

In a bowl that can go in the microwave, heat the cauliflower rice for two to three minutes, or until it gets soft

Put it in a clean kitchen towel or cheesecloth after letting it cool down a bit

Get rid of as much water as you can from the cauliflower rice

Add the almond flour, egg, garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, and pepper to a bowl

Then add the shredded mozzarella cheese

Make a dough by mixing it well

Put parchment paper on the bottom of a baking sheet

Cut the dough into 12 equal pieces

On the parchment paper, shape each piece into a small pizza crust

After the oven is hot, bake the crusts for 12 to 15 minutes, or until they turn golden brown

Take the crusts out of the oven and let them cool down a bit

Dont turn off the oven

Put a little tomato sauce that doesnt have sugar on each crust

Some of the things that you can put on top of each mini pizza are pineapple chunks, diced red bell pepper, diced red onion, and diced lean ham

If you want the cheese to melt and bubble, bake the pizza bites for another 8 to 10 minutes after adding the toppings

After taking them out of the oven, let them cool for a minute

Then you can serve your Low Carb Hawaiian Pizza Bites
